    Once again, the Bengals will not allow Palmer and his inflamed right elbow to play this week. Palmer will be on Cincinnati’s sideline, the No. 3 quarterback, as he has been since Oct. 12. Ryan Fitzpatrick will make another start in Palmer's absence.

  • LenDale White Placed On Probation
    White on Tuesday was placed on probation after pleading guilty to disturbing the peace, according to a report in The Tennessean. White was initially charged with municipal code violations of interference, resistance, refusal of an officer and destruction of property after an incident in Denver on March 15.

  • Report: Stecker Placed On IR; Bell Signed
    With Reggie Bush recovering from a knee injury and Deuce McAllister facing a four-game suspension, running back Aaron Stecker has been placed on injured reserve, a league source tells us.

  • Brandon Jacobs Confirms Knee Is OK; Status Still Unclear
    Jacobs, whose knee injury during Sunday’s win over the Ravens gave the team and its fans a scare, told Sirius NFL Radio on Tuesday that he’ll be fine. “I feel pretty good,” Jacobs said. “I feel way better than I felt Sunday after the game. I did the same thing I did against Dallas last year but it’s nowhere near as bad as it was then. I’ll be fine. It’s my call and we’ll be alright.”

  • Winslow Needs MRI On Shoulder; Harrison Questionable
    Kellen Winslow will undergo an MRI on his right shoulder after injuring it in Monday night's 29-27 victory over the Bills. "We'll check him out and see if he'll be able to do much this week," HC Romeo Crennel said during his weekly briefing.

  • Report: MRI Reveals Nothing Serious For Brandon Jacobs
    Jacobs' MRI from [Monday] revealed no structural damage to his injured knee, according to someone familiar with the results of the test. "Nothing serious," the source said. "Just swollen and sore."

  • Jerome Harrison Leaves Early With Injured Hamstring
    Harrison left tonight's game against the Bills in the fourth quarter with an injured hamstring. The Browns have announced his return as questionable.

  • Browns-Bills Inactives: Heiden, Hardy Active
    According to NFL.com, the Brown have declared QB Ken Dorsey (3rd), FB Lawrence Vickers, WR Steve Sanders and TE Martin Rucker; the Bills will be without WR Justin Jenkins, RB Xavier Omon and WR Josh Reed.

  • Kubiak: Matt Schaub Could Miss 4 More Weeks
    Schaub has been out two weeks with an injured medial collateral ligament and HC Gary Kubiak was far more candid Monday about his condition than he has been since the injury. Kubiak said it could be another four weeks. Kubiak said at one time after the injury he didn’t expect Schaub to play for the rest of the season. The Texans have six games left. “I guess I’m beginning to think and feel more confident that he will play this year,” Kubiak said. “But we’ll see. ... He’s made a lot of progress this past week.”

  • Steven Jackson Ruled Out For Week 12
    Rams coach Jim Haslett has counted out Jackson for this week’s game against Chicago due to a troublesome thigh ailment. It will be the fourth game he’s missed in the last five weeks.
