WNYA-TV, My4Albany, has reached an agreement with the YES Network, the most-watched regional sports network in the country the past four years, to air twenty-one New York Yankees’ games during the 2008 season.

Yankees Logo “This represents a big step for us” said Duncan Brown, WNYA General Manager.  “As the newest station in the market, we are always looking for building blocks that take us to the next level, and the New York Yankees are a big one.  They’re the crown jewel of local sports programming.”

“We’re please to be partnering with WNYA in the Capital Region”, said Matt Cacciato, senior vice president, affiliate sales, the YES Network.   “WNYA’s commitment to air all of the Yankees games on the same channel, providing for season-long continuity, is
important to us.”
