This week's My4 / U.S. Army Student-Athlete of the Week in Colonie High distance runner Makala Anson.
In the classroom Mikala carries a 92 average and is a member of the National Honor Society. Also, she plays violin in the school orchestra and is the Sports Editor of the school paper. Congratulations to Mikala Anson of Colonie High for being this week's My4 / U.S. Army Student-Athlete of the Week.

This is Makala's 4th season as a member of the Garnet Raiders varsity track team. She's been named the squad's "Most Outstanding Runner" the past two years and has twice qualified for the State Tournament in Cross Country. This Indoor season she's competing in the 1500, 3000 and 5000.
